Futures of Maths launches: surveying research mathematicians on AI
littmath · x · 2026-11-06
Researchers from Heriot-Watt, Cambridge, and KIT launched Futures of Maths, a living platform polling active research mathematicians on maths and AI. Users rate short statements from strongly disagree to strongly agree, can skip or flag key ones, and see aggregate ratings after answering; the community can submit new statements, which are moderated and added, so the question set keeps evolving. Eligibility: 18+, with at least one paper in the last 5 years in a zbMATH Open-indexed journal; ORCID sign-in is supported. Results will be published once enough responses are collected.
