OpenAI researchers introduced GPT-6 Cyber, trained for advanced cybersecurity work with improved alignment. It has powered OpenAI's security efforts: finding and helping patch high-severity Firefox vulnerabilities, developing exploits and proposing patches for Linux kernel bugs, and red-teaming OpenAI's own infrastructure. It's now being rolled out to Daybreak Red to keep cyber frontier capabilities in defenders' hands.
