Kaggle launches Chart Arena, a crowdsourced leaderboard for catching AI chart crimes
MeganRisdal · x · 2026-11-06
Kaggle launched Chart Arena, letting users vote on which models make the best charts to combat "chart crimes and plotslop". Models receive a small dataset plus a brief and must produce a self-contained SVG chart — from time series and distributions to funnels and forecast uncertainty — all running on mini-swe-agent 2.4.6. Users compare two outputs side by side (A better / B better / both good / both bad), with a leaderboard and discussion live on the site.
