CFO: We Have 20 AI Use Cases We Can't Execute — Four Questions to Cut the List
alex_verem · x · 2026-11-06
In a reposted thread, @mardehaym shares enterprise AI adoption insights: one CFO says his company always has 20 AI use cases it can't execute; another innovation lead must rank opportunities with the board in two weeks, with performance riding on the choice.
The proposed filtering framework asks four questions:
- Would a customer notice? Start with customer experience over internal efficiency.
- Will someone put their name on one number? If not, cut it.
- Can it run as a one-month pilot? If it needs a new data platform first, defer it.
The core point: companies don't lack ideas, they lack the discipline to cut them.
