Braintrust exposes its MCP server in the bt CLI: why not both MCP and CLI
indragie · x · 2026-11-06
A Braintrust engineer shows how to sidestep the MCP-vs-CLI debate by exposing the Braintrust MCP server directly in the bt CLI. The screenshot demos bt mcp run <tool>, e.g. bt mcp run summarizeexperiment --experiment-id "$CANDIDATEID" --comparison-experiment-id "$BASELINEID", letting scripted workflows invoke MCP tools straight from the command line.
