AI filmmaker shares frame-edit workflow to keep character consistency across video shots
Mr_AllenT · x · 2026-11-05
Part 2 of a practical workflow for maintaining character consistency in AI short films. The problem: transforming a character (Dale) into candy without breaking positioning and scale between generated shots — using only a video model with original reference images caused scaling and positioning drift. The fix: extract a frame, use "Edit with prompt" (GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst) to iteratively convert the character into a candy version, then feed that edited frame as an image reference to the video model, which solved scaling and character positioning during the transformation sequence. Screenshots show the full workflow and final result.
