Founder wires Claude to LinkedIn via MCP to find who's waiting on him — and asks who should gate sending

The founder of open-source CRM Customermates demos an MCP-powered workflow where Claude manages LinkedIn conversations:
- Asked "Who's waiting on me on LinkedIn?", Claude called getmessagingthreads, surfaced four people and saved reply drafts next to each record — one prospect wrote "we would like to sign before the end of the month"
- On the author's "send George a plain yes", Claude requested sendchatmessage with the exact text; the human decision point is the prompt, and the demo stops there
- No sequences, no drips, no bulk sending; nothing goes out without approval
- Honest limits: the Allow prompt is Claude's client-side permission, not server-enforced — setting sendchatmessage to Always allow would send without asking; LinkedIn messaging is cloud-only (Pro plan, 7-day trial), self-hosting lacks these tools
He opens a design question: for write tools reaching real people, rely on client permission prompts or a server-side draft-approval step?
