Tumor moves 11.3mm per breath; he tracked it across 10 CT phases with one open model on one GPU

Most people picture a tumor as static, but according to the oncologist's contours this one moves 11.3 mm in a single breathing cycle — and radiation still has to hit it.
The author clicked once on a public 4D CT scan and let an open-source model chase the tumor through all 10 respiratory phases on a single GPU. The model measured 9.9 mm of motion, showing how readily open vision models can be applied to tumor motion tracking in medical imaging.
