Tesla Germany October sales surge 291% YoY, eyeing 2023's 1.81M record
mitchdeg · x · 2026-11-05
Per @piloly, Tesla sold 2,932 cars in Germany in October with 1.2% market share — up 291% YoY and 699% vs. July. The last three months grew 39.8% over May–July; year-to-date is +206% and already 246% of last year's total. German BEV penetration hit a record 37%, with Tesla at 3.1% of that segment.
mitchdeg argues Tesla is firing on all cylinders in Europe, particularly Germany and France, and still has a shot at beating its all-time annual record of 1.81M cars (2023) — though the real focus now is the robotaxi ramp-up and FSD adoption.
