14-run same-seed test: Regenerate 2K's detail comes from the refiner LoRA, but it changes real people's faces

A methodical 14-run, same-seed test of Regenerate 2K on MiniMax H3 (RTX 5090, ComfyUI) with quantitative sharpness (Laplacian variance) and halo metrics:
- All extra detail comes from the refiner LoRA, not the 0.7 re-noise schedule: 0.7 alone adds nothing (sharpness 7.3 vs 7.5); with the refiner, face sharpness jumps 60%.
- Real faces break: refiner 1.0 introduces a chin dent, ear creases, and a reshaped earring; the official 0.909 recipe changes hair color and invents blue gemstone earrings not in the reference.
- Root cause is the 768p draft: identity is decided before refinement, and the refiner just renders the draft's small shadows into real structure; the 0.8 start washes them out.
- Recommendation: skip it for real-person long videos (direct 2K normal pipeline is cleaner and keeps the face); worth trying for landscapes and empty shots. A full 8-minute walkthrough video is linked.
