Dev forks Ollama into Ollamapaca, adding plugins with Chrome and computer control
RichardsonDx · x · 2026-11-05
Developer RichardsonDx released Ollamapaca, a fork of Ollama that adds Plugins and Skills capabilities.
Key features:
- A built-in browser plugin (5 tools): browses pages via page-declared WebMCP tools and controls Chrome through the debugging port, running locally
- A computer plugin (7 tools) for computer use
- The plugin page live-checks which of your installed local models are plugin-compatible based on their tool-calling capabilities (screenshot shows kimi-k3, glm-5.2, kimi-k2.6 etc. working)
- Enabled plugins list their tools at /api/tools; typing @ in chat picks a plugin for that turn, giving full flexibility over which model drives the browser or computer
