Dev builds Chrome extension adding a watch-history tab to any YouTube channel
RichardsonDx · x · 2026-11-05
A feature request on X asked YouTube for a History tab on channel pages to see every video you've watched there. Not waiting for an official rollout, the author shipped a Chrome extension (yt-channel-history, MIT-licensed) that adds a History chip next to Latest/Popular/Oldest, showing that channel's watched videos with watch dates, newest first. It supports backfilling from local browser history, and all data stays in the browser — nothing is sent to a server.
