Sentry founder David Cramer shows off trademark-dodging AI parody character cards
zeeg · x · 2026-11-05
Sentry founder David Cramer (zeeg) shared what he calls his 'greatest work of all time': a wall of AI-generated parody character cards that deliberately dodge trademarks — Plumbo ('never once fixed a sink'), Sanic, Lonk, Pikachew, Kurby, Dankey Kang, Browser ('runs a shell company') and more, each with a deadpan one-liner.
The humor is in naming each character just close enough to evoke the original without infringing, making it a showcase of both prompt craft and legal-safe parody.
