Per The Information, US banking is splitting on AI agents: JPMorgan, Citi, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo are blocking or restricting outside agents, while smaller banks build products for them. Cross River Bank reported over $40M in agent card payments across 200K+ transactions in 3 months (airlines top category); Lead Bank gives agents dedicated account numbers that can move money via ACH/wire within customer-set limits, with instant lockout.
