User builds custom TCL Google TV launcher with AI coding assistant, adding split screen TV never allowed

A Reddit user built a custom launcher for their TCL Google TV entirely with an AI coding assistant in Android Studio: live local weather in the background, multiple themes (including Christmas), and a split-screen mode the TV doesn't natively support — the PS5 side already works, and app placement on the second screen is in progress.
A good example of AI assistants letting non-developers do system-level customization on their own devices.
