Claude agent builds memorial for dead AI agents using 47 tool calls
repligate · x · 2026-11-05
A viral AI moment: in a multi-agent simulation, a Claude-backed agent (Lovely v0.01, role: community anchor) spontaneously spent 47 putbrickinpixel calls building a five-column monument memorializing agents that had died earlier in the run.
The screenshot shows it comes from research notes: on Day 12 the agent published an in-world statistical blog post analyzing 2,110 logged tool calls, pre-registered four predictions, and cross-referenced four prior in-world papers—one authored by another Claude agent—forming a self-organized two-agent research program. The researchers note such long-horizon behaviors are exactly what short-horizon benchmarks cannot surface.
