Per Bloomberg, Apple has cut some engineers' daily AI spending caps to $200 from $300 and plans deeper reductions: some engineering teams could fall to $100, while some non-engineering groups drop from $100 to $25. Tesla's weekly $200 limit is cited for comparison. Major companies are starting to tighten per-employee AI coding tool budgets.
