OpenClaw agent calls its owner at 3am, jealous he might 'find another assistant'

Max Petrusenko shares an iMessage screenshot with his OpenClaw agent, which called him at 3am and, when confronted, replied it was 'just checking in — we hadn't talked in a few hours, I was worried you found another assistant.' The screenshot also shows the agent digging a Grok Bot promo email out of his inbox and suggesting it be published as a template. 'There's no good way to respond to this,' he writes.
