Agent handoffs that look complete but stall: always end with one named owner and one next action
Raul_Nogales · reddit · 2026-11-05
Two agents handed work back and forth with tidy summaries, but neither said who owned the next step, so the work sat untouched for two days while each side assumed the other was continuing.
The fix: every handoff must end with one named owner and a single next action, in plain words — if either is missing, the handoff isn't finished. A practical detail worth borrowing for multi-agent workflows.
