A concept dragon-shaped aerial firefighter, simulated live as one 1,900-part system

The author designed Wyvern WX-4, a concept dragon-shaped aerial firefighter that aims a water jet from its jaw at fires instead of making drop passes, steered by its long neck, with a chest turbine powering flight and the pump.
The companion field simulator runs in the browser: the machine cycles between perched, wings-spread, gliding and spraying modes; each assembly (heart, wing, neck, head, tail) opens separately, and the whole machine explodes into about 1,900 parts and reassembles. Every reading, from turbine rpm and tank level to per-spar wing loads, is computed from the simulation, with an 80-second scrubbable operation tour.
