Dev releases three CPU-first local MCP tools: IcyLoom, IcyCache and Loom
Numerous-Theory-4486 · reddit · 2026-11-05
A developer published three CPU-first MCP tools for local AI, all installable from public registries with GitHub artifacts and clean-install checks:
- IcyLoom: an MCP tool gateway with a governed registry, tool selection from plain language, roles and approvals, schema compression and decision audit; CPU-first, SQLite-based
- IcyCache: local caching tool
- Loom: MCP integration tool
The author is seeking install feedback, compatibility reports, and practical MCP integration ideas. Very early-stage project with minimal stars so far.
