Claude trains a model instead of writing code: 1257-param pixel-art generator in 10 minutes
victormustar · x · 2026-11-05
@DJLougen had an AI (Claude) build a pixel-art image generation model from scratch in 10 minutes, producing a tiny 1257-parameter model at just 23.5KB. It recognizes 11 image classes with a vocabulary of 59 words — very limited, but surprisingly it works. Victor Mustar notes that on his satisfaction meter, "Claude to train your own models > Claude to write code," highlighting an emerging use of AI beyond coding assistance.
