Author publishes 371 AI-written books in 18 months, earns ~$1M on Amazon

Romance writer Coral Hart, dropped by her publisher as replaceable by AI, turned to industrialized AI book-writing: 371 books published via Amazon self-publishing in 18 months, earning $1M. She says 2024-25 models can now draft a whole book in one pass, but the writer must still steer plot, style, characters and outlines. Her per-model notes: ChatGPT is good at dialogue but weak prose; Claude builds story skeletons but can't write explicit scenes; Grok ignores instructions yet handles sensuality well. She runs an "AI supervising AI" pipeline to curb hallucination. dotey extends this into "three kinds of future books": human-made books as luxury proofs of no-AI, author-AI books readers still want, and on-demand AI-generated books—Amazon's direction.
