Perceptron released Ego 1.0, a self-service API for egocentric video annotation: fine-grained subtask labels matching Astra quality at roughly 1/8 the cost, state-of-the-art 2D/3D hand tracking, and per-action timelines for each hand and robot gripper. Built originally to scale the team's own action models, it targets the annotation bottleneck created by the industry's surging egocentric video output.
