Hex brings local voice dictation to Mac, Windows and Linux — hold Option, speak, paste

Anomaly has released Hex, a local voice dictation tool for macOS, Windows, and Linux. The workflow is minimal: hold the Option key, say what you mean, and Hex pastes the transcribed text wherever your cursor is, running fully on-device. Installation options include Homebrew, a PowerShell script, and deb/rpm/Nix/AUR packages; the macOS build requires Apple Silicon on macOS 15 or later.
