Open-source skill makes Claude Code ship polished, notarized macOS apps in one shot
vista8 · x · 2026-11-04
After building two small tools (Jot quick notes and a Kindle helper) with Opus 5.5, the author packaged the lessons into an open-source skill: npx skills add joeseesun/qiaomu-macos-dev. It targets the gap between "AI can write a Mac utility" and "it's a real product": a SwiftPM scaffold (no Xcode project needed, menubar or window mode, first build runs/signs/self-checks), Lucide-based Icon Composer icons (macOS 26 Liquid Glass + legacy icns), Vercel-style design tokens with Geist fonts, automatic DMG notarization if you have a developer certificate, and GitHub-powered auto-updates. MIT licensed, with evals, scripts, and docs included.
