Open-source Skill Lets You Ship Native macOS Apps with One Prompt, Auto-Notarized
vista8 · x · 2026-11-04
The author built two small tools (Jot quick notes and a Kindle helper) with Claude Opus, then packaged the workflow into an open-source Skill: npx skills add joeseesun/qiaomu-macos-dev.
The Skill enables one-prompt development of personal macOS apps: composing icons with the Lucide library, over-the-air updates via GitHub, and automatic DMG notarization when a developer certificate is present. MIT-licensed on GitHub with a full repo including evals and agent configs.
