Creators beg AI companies to ditch spammy marketing agencies and partner directly

Jerrod Lew argues Gen-AI companies that work directly with creators will win, building communities that actively support their products. He slams the flood of bulk outreach emails from alleged "marketing agencies": they look like spam, half land in junk, and even courteous replies get ghosted or answered with more templates.
Creator AIandDesign agrees, saying she gets these constantly, only works directly with reputable AI companies, and remains unpaid apart from a few CPP memberships. The takeaway for AI firms: bring creator partnerships in-house instead of outsourcing to bulk-email agents.
