Rendering the Mahabharata entirely in code with Gemini and p5.brush, part 1
dx8xb · reddit · 2026-11-04
A Reddit user asked Gemini to illustrate the Mahabharata through code, rendering each scene with p5.brush — part 1 is now out.
Planning started with the epic's 18 parvas but proved too abstract, so the author switched to a 58-point story outline before refining composition and clarity per frame. Visual direction was left open to see the model's style; Argon and GPT Sol 6.1 added subtle motion, and Sol edited the sequence to music generated with Suno. Process breakdown, intermediate frames and animation examples are shared on X.
