Artcraft's Rust rewrite of MS Office and Adobe suite impresses at ~50x speed but lacks VBA

After trying @getartcraft — a Rust rewrite cloning the MS Office and Adobe suites — davidmanheim reports "not only does it just work, it's like 50x faster."
Two real-world shortcomings so far:
- Wordcraft can't open PDFs directly; he has to open them in PdfCraft and export
- Gridcraft doesn't support VBA, so it can't fully replace Excel for complicated workflows (though pivot tables and lookups work)
Verdict: solid for daily use, but macro support and file-format compatibility remain the blockers for a drop-in replacement.
