Claude Code team member catwu departs Anthropic after two years
BorisMPower · x · 2026-11-04
@catwu, a member of Anthropic's Claude Code team, announced Friday was her last day. She recalls joining two years ago when Claude Code was a small internal tool: she had it build an RL environment, steered it for tens of hours without manually writing a line of code, and was hooked.
She also notes how usage evolved: at launch most people approved every permission prompt by hand and mainly used Claude for Q&A and writing tests; today workflows look very different. BorisMPower reposted with congratulations: "the world looks a lot different now!"
