Anthropic's @_catwu leaves after two years shaping Claude Code from internal tool to product
rubenhassid · x · 2026-11-04
catwu announced her last day at Anthropic, reflecting on two years with Claude Code. When it was still a small internal tool, she had it build an RL environment, steering it for tens of hours without manually writing a line of code — the experience hooked her and led her to join the team.
She notes that at launch most users approved every permission prompt by hand and used Claude mainly for Q&A and writing tests, while today usage patterns have transformed fundamentally. This post is Ruben Hassid's well-wishing quote-repost of her farewell thread.
