Civitai ends paywalls for Flux.2 Klein checkpoints as BFL enforces non-commercial license
Mabuse046 · reddit · 2026-11-04
Civitai emailed users that Flux.2 Klein 9B and 9B-base checkpoints can no longer be paywalled, since Black Forest Labs' FLUX Non-Commercial License v2.1 forbids earning from models built on them. Effective November 4th: generation earnings stop, models stay published and free, earned Buzz is kept, and no generation fees or paid access can be added. The poster wonders if BFL is chasing license breakers and whether other sites will follow.
