voxl: Rust-based remote desktop streaming at 60fps with built-in agent APIs
rickasaurus · x · 2026-11-04
darrenjr released voxl, an extremely fast remote desktop streaming tool written in Rust: 60fps with low latency, cross-platform on macOS/Windows/Linux, and using a single WebSocket so it works through proxies and sandbox portals. It ships agent-oriented APIs—/screenshot, /record, /wait—making it directly usable for giving AI agents screen perception and action feedback.
