Anthropic open-sources FlashProve, cryptographic proofs to verify which model produced a response
AnthropicAI · x · 2026-11-04
Anthropic announced FlashProve, a new research effort on provable inference for LLMs. Building on established cryptographic techniques, it lets developers verify that a given response came from a given AI model, substantially more efficient than prior open-source methods.
Use cases include making it harder for attackers to hijack a chat, and letting safety evaluators confirm the model they test is the same one served to customers. The code is open-sourced; Anthropic says progress here will be key to trust in AI deployment.
