OpenAI's Codex community event series DevDay Exchange will hold Miami's first Codex hackathon on Nov 7-8 at The LAB Miami, title-sponsored by The Miami Foundation.
- Theme is "Agents for Good": teams take real problems from South Florida nonprofits and ship working AI agents and tools those organizations can use on Monday — not slide decks.
- Each participant gets $100 in Codex credits plus $50 in OpenAI API credits; 50+ teams expected.
- Judges include Catherine McMillan, COO of The AI Collective (500k+ members, 250+ chapters).
- Tech requirements: Codex, OpenAI API, and the OpenAI Agents SDK.
