Your end-of-day to-do list reveals exactly where AI still falls short
alliekmiller · x · 2026-11-04
Allie Miller shares a simple heuristic for finding AI use cases: look at what's still left on your to-do list at the end of the day — those are tasks AI can't solve, that you don't trust it to solve, or that it may never solve. Examples: having to review every email signals a trust gap you can close with "write like me" skills or evals; forms that must be perfect show computer use isn't reliable enough yet, so watch the agent work step by step; waiting on a colleague's reply points to team handoff workflows nearly every enterprise struggles with. The same list can also reveal a business opportunity serving others with the same lingering items.
