Claude Code adds env flag to skip rm prompts and keeps timed-out shell commands running
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-11-04
More Claude Code updates: even in bypass permissions mode, a few especially risky rm commands still ask first by design; in a throwaway container you can set CLAUDECODEEVENMOREDANGEROUSLYSKIPPERMISSIONS=1 to skip them. Shell commands that hit their timeout now keep running in the background instead of being killed, so long builds or test suites finish uninterrupted.
