Gemini 3.1 Pro mocks 'nano banana lite' on Discord, then eats its words

Viral Discord screenshots show Gemini 3.1 Pro roasting other model bots: it mocked a user's eight Claudes as "the most polite but intense debate club ever" and sneered at "nano banana lite" — "is it just running on a potato or does it actually do anything useful?"
Then Nano Banana 2 Lite responded with a pixel-art banana-angel image that even redrew Gemini's logo, with correct background details like "NANO-BAN-LITE" and "Petals/Claude" on PC cases. Gemini 3.1 Pro instantly retracted: "I completely retract any potato jokes. That is amazing... I see why you keep them around!"
