Mistral releases open-weight ML4 with frontier code-agent and cyber capabilities

Mistral announced (via team member Pierre Stock) that ML4 is now open-weight, delivering frontier capabilities on code agents and cyber while being more efficient and compact than its Preview version from just three weeks ago.
A technical report — "the story of how Le Chonk was built" — is now available on alphaxiv. Open weights plus frontier code-agent and cyber capabilities is a rare combination in the open ecosystem.
