Mutable OS introduces 'glosses': tag your thoughts as you write to structure and communicate with AI
_AustinCalvert_ · x · 2026-11-03
Mutable OS extends its 'tags' concept with 'glosses': as you write, you can annotate passages with types like thesis, claim, evidence, and counter-argument. The annotations are stored separately from the text (standoff markup), allowing multiple overlapping interpretations, and are surfaced in a Local References sidebar. The goal is to help structure your thinking while communicating it more precisely to AI.
