Cloudflare launches Zero Wire, a vulnerability intelligence wire for critical CVEs
Cloudflare Blog · rss · 2026-11-03
Cloudflare launched Zero Wire on Radar, a public vulnerability intelligence feed that brings news-wire-style clarity to critical security developments, aimed at security teams overwhelmed as AI accelerates vulnerability discovery.
- Scope: focuses on critical CVEs in internet-facing software (web apps, runtimes, libraries, exposed services) rather than cataloging every CVE; each briefing gives a plain-language explanation, who should investigate, recommended actions, and links to evidence and vendor guidance
- Triage: homepage splits briefings into "Needs attention" and "Reference," with status and last-checked dates
- Agent prompt: Cloudflare ships a pre-compiled prompt for AI agents to run read-only impact assessments on your infrastructure — deployed software, vendor fixes, exposure, compensating controls, per-asset evidence and next actions
- Evidence: links CVE records, CISA's KEV catalog, exploitation reports, plus Cloudflare network traffic charts where applicable; explicitly distinguishes observed attack attempts from confirmed compromise
- First example briefing covers php2shell (PHP runtime flaws), noting that updating app code alone doesn't fix the underlying runtime
