TuhinChakr · x · 2026-11-03
The clic lab at Stony Brook University's Psychology department is recruiting a fully funded PhD student starting Fall 2027. The lab studies how people and AI systems differ and interact — e.g., how LLMs can alter people's beliefs, whether people can distinguish humans from AI, and whether models show humanlike social intelligence.
Applicants should be interested in both human psychology and AI impacts, have LLM experience, know Python and/or JavaScript, and have skills in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing. The position offers strong mentorship, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a December 15, 2026 application deadline via the SBU Psychology graduate program.
