Claude Code replicates Doppler-based location leak: pinpointing a webcam from audio alone
flngr · x · 2026-11-03
Paras Chopra replicated a technique that leaks the exact location of any video with sound: by fitting the Doppler shift curves of passing aircraft (using open-source flight data), you can triangulate where the recording was made. Tested against a live webcam 7 km south of Southampton, UK, the predicted-location heatmap peaked precisely at the camera's true position. He did the whole replication with Claude Code in a few hours.
