Black Forest Labs updates Flux.3 Klein docs to clarify it's primarily an image editing model
MonkeyBoyPoop · reddit · 2026-11-03
Black Forest Labs updated the Flux.3 Image Klein model card on Hugging Face (commit 9d36114): the 5.6B open-weights model is now described as designed primarily for image editing, with instruction-based edits, text-to-image, up to 10 reference images, and bounding-box layout guidance all running through the same model (Qwen3-VL-4B-Instruct as text encoder). The docs also now instruct to always run a prompt upsampler, since the model is trained on full scene captions and generic output results from short prompts. The poster quips that at least BFL is still tending to the documentation.
