GitHub Copilot CLI released v1.0.106-6 with notable changes:
Added
- /settings now opens a unified dashboard for all users, with global search across settings and local resources
- Interactive CLI reports program status to supporting terminals, including when attention is needed
Improved
- MCP content addressed only to the user is no longer sent to the model; such images render inline in collapsed tool calls or save as files
Fixed (selection)
- Failed tool-call entries can be expanded to show full error output
- Over-limit turns no longer re-run the same tool calls
- MCP connection-failure warnings render as plain text, preventing escape sequences from hiding or recoloring them
- SQL tools stop never-ending queries after 60 seconds instead of hanging the session
- Numerous fixes across /diff, /sandbox, question forms, and the LSP panel
