wterm adds WebMCP support, letting AI agents drive browser terminals directly
cramforce · x · 2026-11-03
ctatedev announced that wterm now supports WebMCP, allowing AI agents to use terminals embedded in web pages: listing, reading, typing, and pressing keys. Support is opt-in per terminal with a read-only mode, works across React, Vue, Svelte and vanilla JS, and avoids DOM scraping or fake key events. A demo shows 5 fx agents launching each other across 4 browser terminals.
