LocalFold update brings BioEmu2, Mol-1, AF3x crosslinks to browser-based protein folding
CatAstro_Piyush · x · 2026-11-03
LocalFold, a browser-based protein structure prediction tool, shipped a major update: it now supports BioEmu2, Mol-1, FastPLM (confidence modules for fast ESMFold models), AF3x crosslinks, and faster diffusion sampling via exponential updates and a geometric noise schedule. Everything runs locally in the browser on WebGPU—no installation needed—letting anyone run protein folding predictions on their own PC.
