Markets massively underprice AI if RSI is coming, argues pacing debate chart
ohlennart · x · 2026-11-03
Responding to the question of whether AI compute/training pacing would crash the market, the author argues that if recursive self-improvement (RSI) is coming, markets are massively underpricing AI progress — even a paced RSI curve sits far above the 'market today' line in his illustrative chart. From the market's view, though, pacing simply means going down, since markets price in a flattening curve rather than the RSI scenarios.
