TalkPix ships remote MCP server with server-side spend limits for agents
No-Influence-161 · reddit · 2026-11-03
TalkPix turned its photo-to-talking-video tool into a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP, OAuth with dynamic client registration). Attach a photo in Claude or ChatGPT and the assistant writes scripts and calls the tool for talking photos, product ads, or short AI videos. The interesting part is spend control: every paid tool returns a quote first with a hard cap, per-video and daily budgets live server-side (not in prompts) with manual confirmation for overages, the assistant never sees payment details, and rate limits are per connection. Listed in the official MCP registry.
